As the year comes to an end, I just wanted to take a brief moment to introduce myself and our new board/representative council.
Many of you have seen me around the district, but many of you may not know who I am. I have worked here in the Ephrata School District my whole career (I am just finishing up my 22nd year!!!). As a speech-language pathologist, my job is to help students communicate. My role in the district has allowed me to be in many of our buildings throughout the years, getting to know teachers and administrators. In addition, my children are fifth grade students, and have been attending Ephrata Schools since kindergarten.
In regards to the EEA, I have been vice-president for two years, secretary for one year, and Special Services representative for one year.
Here are your new board and council members. Some building representative positions still open, so we will need to fill them soon.
Toni Jenn - President
Brandon Evenson - Vice-President
Joan McDonnell - Secretary
Brian Forster - Treasurer
2 Vacancies - Columbia Ridge
Jenna Mayer & Kathleen Harris - Grant
Tracy Pickeral & Charlie Kocan - Parkway
Joan Fleming & Gaemmi Jasman - Middle School
Tobin Springs & Joe Wolf - High School
Kelly Schoo - Sage Hills
1 Vacancy - Special Services
Deb Knox is our TPEP Representative. She will be working closely with the board and council, as well as members, when it comes to TPEP issues/concerns.
We look forward to serving you this next school year. Please contact your building representatives, or any executive board member, if you have any questions or concerns. I am available by email or phone (see below).
Thank you for your commitment to our students.
